About the Event
Have you ever thought about how the choices you made as a child play a role in who you are today? Do you ever consider if you had made different life decisions or taken a different path towards success what your life would currently look like? Four Black Shoes is an original stage play that highlights four African American Women who take the opportunity to reflect on their past. The younger generation of characters serves as a reminder of an implied historical tragedy. The same adolescent characters offer forecasting of what their lives could have been if a devastating event never occurred.
As the play unfolds, one can notice how monumental similarities from the past are revealed and currently relived. With the previous notion, please keep in mind that history can repeat itself and bad things can still happen to good people.
